Room In My Bed She looks at me And I just stare Not like I want to care She licks her lips I look away Not quite sure what to say She flips her hair From side to side Has nothing left to hide Steps on over Close up to me What the Hell does she see? Crossing my hands Upon my lap Gives my shoulder a tap I turn around Now face to face Now I feel out of place She says "Hello" I nod right back Slides her hand down my back I feel just shy Try to sheep away She's a lion, I'm her prey "How's it going”? "I'm feeling fine" Where the Hell is my spine? "And how are you" "I'm feeling great" Hope this isn't a first date I shrug her off Than leave the bar Walk quickly to my car Followed me out Bundled for heat Stood by passenger seat She wanted in Opened the door She stepped in wanting more Flashed the engine Drove down the street Felt like it was a treat Showed her my life Slammed on the brakes She sat there with the shakes I turffed her out And drove away She did not want to stay So life just sucks What can you do? I stopped when she went blue But that's the past Future ahead Only me in my bed
