I promised myself
Tonight was the night
No more self conflicts
Or Self-esteme fights
Went to the party
With heart on a sleave
Got my ass in gear
Began to believe
So she brought a guest
And what was the best
It wasn't a him
So I could just rest

Caught her on a lap
