One Day One day, you'll see me Then see how wrong you were I'm not great at all How dare you think I am I'm just a regular person, made worse You think you know me? That's like saying, "I know the answer to a riddle, without one" A statue can't move on it's own The proof is, that I'm still standing here Every wall has it's weakness though The fault to most, is the rain My face won't let that out Not a sigh Not a drop Not a sin And because you got to know me outside then in Maybe you'll stay around, to see the horrors Without running away in fear One day, I hope I can see that See someone stay for me For if my problems were yellow bricks The road made from mine Would circle Oz three times Let me have a day in the sun Let me take a few bricks away Then I can break free from the stone immortality Or better yet... Even be your sun The hand you hold on a walk The guy you come to, when the world isn't fair So I can hold onto you like a statue So that you will only have the weight of me on your shoulders Better then the whole world
