A mother is something special
Special is what you are to me
The life you gave me, is splendid
I give thanks to thee
Who else would of ever looked out for me?

You taught me how to laugh and smile

You taught me to tie my shoes
You taught me how to walk

There is nothing great enough
Only thing I can try
Is sappy poetic stuff

There is something that you should know
