Day In The Mountains Up in a mountainous range Everything seems right, and nothing is strange Flowers blossom everywhere Only at you do I stare Two falcons lay at rest The female's head lay on the male's breast As we look from the ground, to up the tree Watching the birds, still as can be The birds lay asleep So beautiful that it makes one weep We lay down in a patch of grass You drape your arm across me like a sash Many words said, but none are heard You rest your head on my breast, just like the bird I whisper sweet nothings in your ear You don't sigh, nor cheer I remove from my bag a long stemmed rose Your face is red and glows I caress you cheeks with the flower It begins to rain near our bower You close your eyes from the mist I'm hoping that you want to be kissed You begin to drift off to sleep With out a single word or peep Filled only with fain I believe I should do the same In the end I clasp your hand Then begins to understand Love is delicate as can be I'm glad you bring this feeling to me
